“Económico pero imposible descansar”
The bed is very comfortable, the AC and fan work well, and it’s one of the cheapest places in Penang with a good location. It doesn’t operate like a typical hotel: you have to climb a second floor without an elevator and they force you to remove shoes at the entrance to walk around the premises (no prior notice). The facilities are tiny, especially the sink where you can’t even wash your face. The staff live on the same floor and the doors aren’t sealed, so kitchen smells leak in and everything is audible. The worst is the night noise—staff shout and run down the hallway until 5 am, making it impossible to sleep. If you only care about price and don’t need sleep, this is fine; if you want a real hotel experience, skip it.
