The location is gorgeous, overlooking Bembridge harbour. We didn’t dislike anything. Islay is a beautiful houseboat and we loved being there.

The houseboat is fabulous, beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable—perfect for our girls’ getaway. The spot is lovely, with parking across the street. Eco products in the bathrooms and kitchen were a nice touch. We had a Tesco delivery to the boat and enjoyed a great evening in Bembridge at The Old Village Inn and The Crab & Lobster Inn. Denise was very helpful and responded quickly. The only issue was that hot water only works for four or five showers before it needs a bit to reheat, but that didn’t bother us.
