The place was spacious, had everything we needed, was clean, tidy, and well maintained. I would have liked slightly thicker curtains to block out the light, but otherwise we were happy.

The spot and its garden were charming, modern, and in a great spot for us. Unfortunately, there was no air‑conditioning or fans in the unit, most windows wouldn’t open, and the bathroom had none—making the place feel stuffy and hard to breathe in the hot January weather Gillits has had. The property is new and the owner is still developing it, but aside from that it was lovely and I’ll return.
