“Basic, pleasant, good location”

The location is solid, just a 10 minute walk to town and about 5 minutes to the punting. Parking is paid at the back of the property. The rooms come with a kettle, fridge and microwave, which is handy if you’re on a budget. Shower gel, soaps and a fan are included. The place is tidy and basic; I didn’t like the self‑check‑in and car‑park check‑in because we had two rooms and the timing felt awkward. We got the codes and the help line answered our questions. The parking cost more than I expected, £15 per car from 12am to 12am next day; we stayed a day and a half but had to pay for two days.

The location works well. The bathroom had no ventilation and the room had a damp smell.

“Met expectations”

The spot was great, the room was decent, you get what you pay for. The bathroom was a bit cramped; standing at 6'3 I had to duck under the curtain rail to shower and turning around was a little hard.
