The hotel sits nicely between Bologna and Modena, the on‑site restaurant serves authentic, top‑quality food, the breakfast is superb, they offer amazing fresh fruit grown on the estate, and the staff are very attentive.

The place is a quiet spot close to Modena, the room is roomy with a modern bathroom, and they serve homemade cakes for breakfast. When we arrived at 3 pm there was no one at reception; we only had a phone number to call, but no one answered. We asked the next‑door restaurant for help and they gave us a different number. Finally someone appeared after about 20 minutes. A single WhatsApp message from the host would have sorted our arrival, yet no communication happened at all. The bed was not very comfortable. There’s no sign on the B&B to tell the restaurant and accommodation apart; two neighboring buildings run separately. The reception area was dark in the evening, so you walk down to a dim room and enter the hotel in the dark. Only one coffee cup was provided in the room, even though we were two guests.

I stayed in a spot that made it easy to hit the most beautiful towns in Modena province in just a few days; the area was quiet, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was solid.

“Absolut Empfehlenswert.”

Everything you’d need while traveling was there, plus a clean, quiet, comfy room, good food at the on‑site restaurant, and friendly staff; the hotel was also very easy to reach. The only downside was the smell of a nearby dairy farm, but it didn’t bother us.
