The food is world‑class and on its own level! The staff are very nice and accommodating. The location is great and we’ll definitely return. The bike rental is free, and they have everything for kids on site (buggy, carrier, e‑bikes, etc.). Fresh fruit is always available. When the weather is bad, indoor activities get played out quickly. The kids’ care staff could be more creative and proactive. The “disco” room with the projector is definitely too dark – indirect lighting would help. Unfortunately, the pool was colder than expected; it’s not cold, but not warm either.
The hotel sits in a great spot with a fantastic view and plenty of activities right outside the front door. The staff were very friendly and the food varied nicely.
“Nice place for kids, but minor things to be considered before travelling”
1. The facilities for children of all ages were really cool, from outdoor to indoor playgrounds, and purees and formula were always available, though there’s room for improvement. 2. Tea or coffee isn’t included with lunch and dinner—only breakfast has it. Desserts are offered in the evening, but no coffee; even though the room has a Nespresso machine and pot, you have to pay for drinks at lunch and dinner. 3. Healthy options for toddlers (1–2 years) are limited; they’ve outgrown purees but can’t handle regular adult food with spices. I liked the oatmeal made with water, but it was excessively sweet. The only breakfast options were eggs or yogurt, and dinner always offered rice and pasta. 4. There’s a big time gap between lunch and dinner. A room with some food (purees, brei, apples) exists, but it might not satisfy a toddler.
“Excellent Stay Overall, Unfortunately Let Down at Check Out”
We had an overall wonderful stay celebrating my husband’s birthday. The room was nice and comfortable, the kids’ facilities were amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to the Kids Club team for ages 3–5 – they were truly amazing with my son, took great care of him, and he had an absolute blast. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and full of positive energy. The restaurant staff also deserve a special mention for being consistently warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel very welcome at every meal. Their service added a lot to the positive experience. Unfortunately, our experience ended on a very disappointing note at check‑out. A discrepancy appeared on our final bill for an additional charge for something I had not ordered; I raised this with the Front Office Manager and supported it with written communication from the hotel. The Front Office gentleman who initially helped me was very professional, respectful, and helpful, which I truly appreciated. My only issue was with the Front Office Manager, who became defensive and engaged in an uncomfortable and unnecessarily argumentative exchange with me. I found his handling of the situation disappointing and unprofessional, especially for a five‑star hotel, and not in line with the otherwise excellent service from the rest of the team. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses this matter internally, as situations like this can damage the hotel’s image and outweigh what would otherwise have been a truly wonderful experience during a birthday celebration weekend.

The place was excellent for kids. The linens weren’t very comfortable and the bed itself wasn’t very cozy.
