Overall the place was clean and good. The downside was that there was only one elevator, so it took some time.

The location was really great! Several train stations are nearby and the staff were very friendly. The room was extremely small, a bit too tight for two people and a bit more luggage.

A really good simple hotel room for the price. It’s a short walk from Ueno station and the walk goes through a lively area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate for one person. Nothing was wrong; it was perfect for the price.

The breakfast was disappointing. For Westerners it offered a small amount of jam, butter, hard toast, toast‑like bread, coffee. Luckily a konbini is close by.

The amenities and hygiene were good. The bathroom was very small and the soap left your skin rough (even though it smelled nice). There is only one lift, so it can take a long time to get in and out of the hotel at times.
