How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The pillows on the bed were awful. A party nearby kept the noise level high until after midnight. I didn't appreciate that all the bedrooms were on the outside of the house, a detail that should have been listed on the website. We had four small cousins who were very disappointed that they couldn’t all share one room.

The bedrooms are spacious. The house itself was in a terrible state of neglect: towels and linens were torn, tiles and cupboards were broken or cracked, and even at the spa the towels were ripped and the area around the jacuzzi was in disrepair. There’s no backup inverter, no gas stove, and no kettle for power outages.

Even though it was close to another property, it still offered the seclusion we wanted; the place was gorgeous and spacious with animals roaming freely. Firewood was available and almost every appliance you could need was there. Some doors didn’t close properly, and there was apparently no big 5. Checkout took a long time, which delayed our other plans.

The location was good. The property needed a lot of maintenance: the fridge wasn’t working, shower doors didn’t close properly, and there was mould on the walls.
