How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
I loved the wooden accommodation in the charming town of Breb, but the highlight was Vasile, the host, who treated us to homemade grappa in the evenings and invited us to a Romanian soup dinner; he was the friendliest and most hospitable we met on our entire route. The only downside was that the rooms were a bit dark, so I couldn’t read at the end of the day.

The whole building is made of wood, which I liked. The room was nicely furnished but a bit plain. The balcony was blocked by a small room that was practically useless.

The guesthouse had a charming, traditional feel and the staff were welcoming. Breb village itself was delightful. Unfortunately, the rooms stayed very cold in August, making it uncomfortable; better heating would make this a wonderful place to stay.
