Everything was very convenient, clean, and comfortable—perfect for a family stay—and honestly, there was nothing negative.

The location was excellent, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the boardwalk, and the beach; the hotel was clean, quaint, and every square inch felt Victorian. However, the bathroom was tiny and split into separate parts—tub in the bedroom, sink near the entrance, shower/toilet in another room—and the balcony could fit only one chair. I was shocked by the high prices for food and drinks; I paid over $700 a night and expected a spa bath and a spacious room, so I guess the location was the only thing worth the cost.

The staff were all courteous and friendly, and the boardwalk location was perfect. The pool was adult‑only after 8 pm, but it didn’t get much use at that time; it would be better to open it after 9 pm since many kids want to swim.
