The 15th‑century house was beautifully restored, set in a charming village with a rich history; the furnishings are lovely, the garden and grounds stunning, and the owners are gracious and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, featuring homemade preserves and granola. We had an exceptional experience and really enjoyed our time here, wishing we could have stayed longer! Nothing to complain about—it was perfect.

The breakfast was very good, with plenty of food and some homemade by Jane. We had a tick list so our morning requests were on the table hot, ready, and very nice. The area was easy to find by Sat Nav and only 15 minutes from Longleat Park, where we were headed. No dislikes.

I loved the breakfast, which was well served with lots of homemade options. The room was clean, very comfy, and had a huge private bathroom along the corridor. I would have liked a smoked salmon option at breakfast.
