How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.

The stay was wonderful overall in a beautiful, well‑maintained resort. Petra and Thomas were always friendly and helpful to us newcomers, offering assistance with visas, insurance, first‑time explorations, arranging tours, taxis, money exchange, and more—thanks again for the free room upgrade! The beach with a cozy bar is a short walk away, and Michamvi Kae is a quiet village that we really liked. The island offers stunning nature experiences. Unfortunately, Zanzibar suffers from significant plastic waste pollution and frequent power outages, but we didn’t mind because a generator was available.

“Very nice family stay, good breakfast, comfortable”

The owners were very nice and helpful, making us feel like family. Zanzibar often has power cuts, but our host had a generator that he would turn on most of the time. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. The place owns five dogs, and not all of them are friendly with guests, so you need to be careful.

The hospitality was warm and convivial from the owners, giving a “home” vibe. The atmosphere was sincere during our time together. Meals, both breakfast and dinner, were of high quality with generous portions for two each time. It isn’t luxurious, but it’s cozy and impeccably clean. The beach is not right on the property, but it’s less than a 5‑minute walk away, and it’s very pleasant for swimming, unlike some parts of the East Coast. A water‑sports activity center is also available. I regret that I could only stay for two days. The only drawback was that credit card payment wasn’t possible.

Everything was great! The owners, two German gentlemen, are kind and very accommodating. The property is extremely well cared for and spotless. We also used the sunbeds with towels provided and the pool, which was very relaxing. The breakfast was truly excellent!

“Fantastic”

I loved my overnight stay there. Petra was very friendly and accommodating; I checked in after 9 pm and she prepared a truly delicious late dinner. Breakfast offered a good variety, and I appreciate the couple who own the place—they’re very gracious!
