Mey and her family’s welcome was wonderful. Our children and we were treated like friends; the kids loved long talks with Mey and Virginia about their animals, family, and the island. We ate there every night and the meals were always very good, ending with the famous garden mamones – a great find. Whenever we needed a taxi or a tuk‑tuk, Mey was very responsive and always arranged the best options. I recommend Don Franklin for excursions; he drives very smoothly and is pleasant company. The hostess’s advice for organizing days was also very good. We keep a great memory of this break on Ometepe thanks to this hospitality and recommend everyone to visit.

The personalized service, the staff, and the food were 10/10. The power went out and the heat was suffocating.

The host is extremely helpful and kind, explains everything clearly. The food is delicious and the prices are fair. The iced coffee and the puppy were a plus :) The place is only about 200 m from the main road, so if you come by quad or car it can be tight, but the road is thankfully well lit.
