You sail about 10 minutes to the floating accommodation. The house is very cozy, with its own terrace. The bed is super comfortable and comes with several blankets, and we were given a hot water bottle for the night. Food is prepared on site and tastes excellent. The tour with our host exceeded our expectations. The bathroom has hot water. The toilet is simply designed, which takes some getting used to, but it works well.

From the beginning, Isaac, the host, picks you up from the Kalapajra port on his boat (25 sol per person both ways) and not only takes you to the house but also gives you a fantastic tour around the Uros floating village, showing you far more than a typical guide tour. Then you’re welcomed by his kind family in a beautifully arranged floating hut. It’s very clean, well equipped, has a hot‑water bathroom and even a USB wall charger. There’s also a deck with retractable chairs to relax. Breakfast is included, and they also provide a hot water bottle for sleeping. A wonderful and unforgettable experience.

A charming cottage on a floating island that feels cozy, with a comfy bed, a balcony perfect for sunset viewing, tasty food, and a wonderful host. The shower was not hot, which I didn’t anticipate, but given it’s solar‑powered, that’s understandable.

Staying with Isaac and his family was unforgettable; they care deeply for guests and make you feel part of their lives and customs. The lodge is well maintained, recently renovated, very clean and beautiful. The bed is extremely comfortable and fully equipped to keep you warm at night (they even brought hot foot sachets before bed). The lake view is stunning, and having dinner there is a delight. They also helped a lot with logistics: Isaac picked us up at the port, returned us in the early morning, and arranged our taxi. They offer a tour of the Uros islands themselves. We went fishing with Isaac and learned a lot. Many thanks to the whole family; we’ll always remember you. Yuspajara! No complaints.
