The room we got was nothing like the pictures – five beds jammed together, a window with no glass, the bathroom lights flickered, a plug burned our phone charger and melted a power strip. The owner tried to act friendly but told us we could leave anytime, no problem, just hand over the key. We planned to stay until 12:30 to head straight to the terminal, but at 11:30 he slammed the door, saying we had to leave at 11 and that if we wanted a bit more time we'd pay an extra 5,000 pesos.
