The room was lovely, the staff were very helpful, and breakfast was good. It was close to Chichester’s centre, so restaurants and attractions like the Cathedral were easy to reach. The rooms sat above a music venue; a student night ran until 3 am that evening, but we’d been warned beforehand and were given ear plugs. It bothered us a little, yet the noise level was less intense than we had feared.

Initially the first impression of the vestry was not good, but a genuine friendly welcome was excellent. The room and on‑suite were good and breakfast great. The location was perfect. The front of House is a dark pub. They warned that there was loud music but thankfully our stay was on a Sunday so very quiet.
