“j'ai réservé en toute dernière minute cet hôtel, très facile d'accès en métro”
The hotel’s décor, the room, and the bedding were great, but the dinner was pricey for a burger and fries.

The room was decent, clean, and quiet, and the lady at reception was courteous, friendly, and efficient, as was the gentleman who handled check‑out. The check‑in was a disaster: I was asked for a physical payment card as a deposit (without being told the maximum amount), which surprised me since the room was already paid for; I agreed to let them take a card imprint, but instead of swiping it, the receptionist manually copied all the card details—including the three‑digit PIN—onto a file I don’t know where, explaining in an arrogant tone that he does this with all guests. I had to trust him that no malicious party could misuse the data, which led me to block my card and order a new one from my bank, ending up without a payment card for several days and incurring fees to get a replacement.

The place was clean, but the bathroom products were lacking.

The staff were kind, but it didn’t live up to a Mercure standard.
