The room was large, clean, with a spacious, clean bathroom, the beds were comfortable, there was secure storage for our bikes, the breakfast was extensive and tasty, the owner was very friendly, and the Bodensee was within walking distance (about 5 minutes). No negatives.

At check‑in, the receptionist greeted me nicely, but my room was in block B31 and not air‑conditioned, so I had to choose between noisy air or quiet but stale air. The bed was completely sagging and the pillows were uncomfortable. Parking was tight—especially if you arrive with a larger car. During checkout, I was proactively texted about why I couldn’t have a relaxing stay.
