Located on the seafront in Marsala, the Grand Hotel Palace boasts an outdoor swimming pool, a sea-view terrace, and Sicilian cuisine. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms and flat-screen TVs, some offering garden or full sea views. The elegant restaurant serves local and international specialties, and the cellar features a selection of local wines.

The hotel feels like a well‑maintained antique building, elegant and welcoming. Its rooms have a nostalgic charm but are tidy and cozy. The breakfast is very plentiful with a good mix of sweet and savory options. The staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. The pool area is lovely, clean, and a nice spot to relax. The only downside is the location: there isn’t much around, and you need a car to reach restaurants or other attractions.

The room was large and clean, and the staff were super helpful. The location is ideal, the pool is huge, and the breakfast impresses with variety and quality. The maintenance of the pool needs to be reviewed.

The hotel is right by the harbor, making boat trips easy, and it’s only a few kilometres from the city centre; the staff are very friendly, courteous, and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent with a wide variety that even includes raw seafood. A special thanks to the restaurant staff – Mr. Giovanni, Francesco, and Ernesto – who are truly professional and kind. The pool is huge and especially clean. I highly recommend this place.

It isn’t a 5* in my opinion – the services, equipment, and range don’t match a 5* old‑timer, the bathroom is very old and toilet paper is rationed, plastic glasses (??!!) are very expensive for no service, and the breakfast has low‑grade industrial butter and jam as shown in the photos. With 39 degrees there’s no welcome or water bottle: everything is paid for, even a small mikado costs 10€!!! Reaching the center is very bleak.
