When we learned the cabin was double‑booked, the manager went above and beyond by arranging a nearby caravan park for one night and a night at the hotel, so I’m very grateful for his help.

The water pressure was fine and the location wasn’t bad, but the reality was far from the pictures: everything was falling apart, we struggled to check in because no one answered the door or the phones, we had to ask for linens and clean our own cutlery because it was dirty, and the place was full of mould. I’m extremely disappointed for paying so much for such a crappy stay. I booked a double bedroom for four people, had to send two of us elsewhere because the room wasn’t big enough and wasn’t suitable for kids.

The location was great, there was a large fridge, a pool, and a lock gate for security. However the mattress in the bunk beds was uncomfortable, there was only one blanket for two beds, and the flood lights made the rooms too bright.

When we arrived the building looked run down and nothing like the photos; we waited 20 minutes for a receptionist to show up and then had to grunt at myself and another man waiting. Everyone coming in and out of the property also looked a little worse for wear. Definitely don’t recommend it to anyone.

It was close to the location, but there was a hole in the bathroom floor, the TV didn’t work at first, the kids’ beds were missing sheets and needed to be made, and there wasn’t enough toilet paper.
