The location and staff were good, and it had all the basics; nothing to complain about.

The location and price are good. It’s an economical accommodation very well situated near Madrid’s center. The air conditioning didn’t cool enough, and because it’s portable, it prevented the window from closing completely.
“No volvería y no lo recomiendo”
The only thing I could say in a positive light was that the shower worked great, and they let us store our luggage for a few hours. The overall experience was quite disappointing and honestly I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. I’m not a picky traveler and usually adapt well, but in this case several issues made the stay uncomfortable. We arrived very early after our flight and had to wait until someone was at reception, which only opens from 8:00 to 23:00. The most awkward part was that there was no seating area, so we had to sit on the floor. Our room was right next to the elevator, making it almost impossible to rest; every time someone used the lift, the noise was loud, especially at night. The room’s ventilation was another major drawback: the system made a lot of noise yet didn’t ventilate properly. Staff attention didn’t help either, as we often felt they were unwilling to assist or solve the problems we raised.
