The room service was especially good, and the location is great if you’re heading toward Gyeongjang. There are many good restaurants nearby, so I think I’ll go again. I didn’t have any problems, but if there were, it was that the view was a bit on a lower floor—though that didn’t matter. It was hot, so the windows were closed and the curtains were drawn, which was fine.

The accommodation feels well maintained. I was planning to go to a nearby spot to see the sunrise, but I could see it from the roof of the lodging. The sky wasn’t cloudy, and there were tables and chairs on the roof, so on a good day you could enjoy a morning coffee while watching the sunrise. I wasn’t expecting breakfast, but they prepared hot boiled eggs, soy milk, and bread, which was plenty for a light breakfast. The ice cups were neatly stored in the freezer, so you could choose hot or iced coffee. Walking five minutes takes you straight to the sea, and there’s a seafood market and restaurants nearby, making it a great spot to eat and relax. The only negative was that there was a steamer, but I didn’t use it.

The spot is great and parking is super convenient, but it turns out the hotel only opens the front desk during the day, so check‑in was at 6 am—an error I didn’t catch before booking!

Walking to 연화리 포차촌 takes just five minutes, but the neighboring pension—or something like that—was a bit noisy.
