This riverside park offers proximity to Paihia village, a short ferry trip to Russell, and nearby supermarkets. Historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds are a 10-minute walk away. We stayed in cabin #4 and it was great – the beds were comfy and clean, a large bed and two king singles, and the TV was fine if you have kids; we brought our own for them to watch at night. The cabin was warm and cosy, equipped with a jug, toaster, microwave, fridge, pots, pans and utensils. The shared shower block offered good pressure. We loved our 3‑night stay and didn’t want to leave.

Everything about the property is perfect, though you have to shower during daylight because the bathroom sensor light turns on when you walk in and stays on for about 5 minutes. Not really an issue though.
