“Thank you”
The room was spotless with comfy beds and plenty of space for my toddlers’ beds. I needed a first‑floor room because I was traveling alone with two toddlers.

We spent a single night here on our way to Idaho; the spot was great, rooms were spotless, and the beds were super comfy. When we checked in, a very courteous young guy at the front desk wowed us with his knowledge of my home country’s history—an impressive touch! We got to the hotel late after driving from Mammoth Lakes through Lake Tahoe, and I was already feeling awful with a cold. At about 8:00 a.m. a woman knocked on our door and demanded we leave. We were already packed and ready to go, and that was the first time I’d seen such rude treatment at an American hotel. Lovelock isn’t a tourist hub; most guests were contractors or laborers. We had a long drive ahead to Twin Falls, Idaho, and we won’t return.

It was close to the location, but it smelled like smoke and the staff opened the door around 8 a.m. even though we hadn’t checked out yet.

Getting to the hotel from the highway was easy, and there was plenty of parking for large vehicles and trailers. The check‑in staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, had a king bed, a high‑quality TV, and a large bathroom with a tub and shower; an extra sink outside the bathroom was a nice touch. It was very quiet at night, except for one train passing by that didn’t use a horn, so it was barely noticeable. The area was great for walking the dog. The $30 nightly fee for a small dog feels steep.

The staff were great, and the check‑in was the best I’ve ever experienced.
