“Eu esperava mais, pois foi a minha segunda vez no hotel.”

The Poty’s location is spot‑on, close to the beach and local shops, and the hotel’s cleanliness is pretty good; the leisure area is also very pleasant. However, the room I was assigned left something to be desired: it had been recently renovated, yet there were still marks on the bathroom wall, no hook to hang a towel, and no power outlets in the room for phones or laptops. The room faced the pool, offering very little privacy, so I couldn’t even open the curtains or windows.

The breakfast offered a good variety and was well prepared, the hotel has a beach‑style vibe and decent potential, and the location was perfect for my needs. On the downside, I got a renovated room that looked nice, but the beds were a problem: there were two beds that felt like narrow canoes and gave my lower back pain, and the sound insulation was non‑existent. Inside the bathroom you could hear exactly what the guest in the adjacent room was saying, the housekeepers spoke very loudly while tidying rooms, so it was hard to sleep past 8 pm, especially when guests talked loudly and the echo was intense.

Coffee and cleaning were excellent. The Wi‑Fi had no repeater; if you don’t grab an AP near reception you’re left without internet, which is the case for 90 % of guests. There is almost no outlet, just one per apartment.

The location is perfect, just a street behind the main avenue near axé moi, supermarkets, pharmacies and more. We stayed in the last room on the corridor, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work and the balcony door didn’t lock, but aside from that everything was fine.
