“Très bien”
The staff were very pleasant and the hotel is well‑located, but the construction noise from the adjacent building is annoying.
The staff were kind and attentive, the breakfast was tasty, and the station was close, making the stay very comfortable. What I appreciated most was that they prepared a sandwich for me to take with me because I had to leave the hotel early to catch the Glacier Express before breakfast time. The bathroom door in my room wouldn’t close properly and I couldn’t lock it, so I had to keep the trash can in place to hold it shut.
“Great place to stay with easy access to Zermatt and the mountains.”
The front desk staff was extremely helpful with directions and booking our trip to the Matterhorn. Breakfast was very good. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the train station to head to Zermatt. Trains started up very early and ran until late at night. We had the windows open as it was warm in the room so it was pretty loud
The room and bathroom were a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast—complete with an English option—was solid. The underground secure car park was large. In the evenings, the TV signal across the hotel drops when everyone tunes in, and the hotel plans to fix it by the end of September 2026. Trains passing the hotel at night make it a bit noisy, and there are no kettles or tea and coffee in the rooms.
“EXCEPCIONAL”
I loved staying at that hotel. It’s very close to the station for heading to Zermatt. The room is very comfortable and spacious, everything was very clean. The breakfast is really good, with a lot of variety. I appreciated that the front‑desk lady helped me with a small decoration for my aunt and her husband who were celebrating 20 years of marriage on the day we arrived; it was a great gesture that meant a lot to them and to me, and I thank them again.
