The sea was nearby with a bit of free beach and close to Capoliveri and Porto Azzurro, yet I expected to stay in the pictured building but was sent 200 m further toward the beach to a very old structure above the hotel restaurant, which is not great. The hotel parking was unavailable on the first day because another unauthorized car had occupied it, and the hotel’s parking monitoring system is superficial, causing inconvenience between the parking and the room access. I never used the pictured facilities and do not think it deserves four stars; there was also no way to contact the cleaning lady, who arrived early one morning after just finishing breakfast.

“Bene ma non benissimo”

The place was very clean, staff were friendly and solved problems quickly, all restaurant staff were efficient, kind, and ready to meet every small request or doubt; the hotel bar staff were friendly, courteous, and very fast. The location is good, but you have to drive out at night to reach the center of Capoliveri, the nearest town. I would not give it four stars, only three, which are well deserved. Room 565 had a three‑star bathroom, the bed was very comfortable (personal preference), there were few power outlets, and the décor could use a nice touch‑up. Mosquitoes are a personal issue; a thorough disinsection in September would help. No hotel form was asked to be filled, and the price is high for a four‑star with rooms like these.

We absolutely loved everything! The establishment is exceptional, impeccably maintained, spotless, and truly comfortable both in the residence and throughout the hotel. The staff are adorable, smiling, available, and attentive; special thanks to the maître d’hôtel for his warmth and care. The immediate proximity to the beach is a huge plus, with a beautiful and pleasant setting. We really enjoyed all the services, the atmosphere, the quality of the welcome, and the setting. Everything came together for a perfect stay. A wonderful discovery and a place we recommend with closed eyes! The only minor drawback is the road leading from the hotel to the residences; it is very worn and has large potholes, making car access uncomfortable. Fixing that road would be a real benefit for guests staying in the residence.
