The hostess was very kind and caring and gave useful tips. The location is unique: beautifully set in the foothills of the Ecrins nature park, a top hiking area. The peace we experienced was phenomenal. It wasn’t clear from the description that both rooms had to share a kitchen; that could be mentioned more clearly in the room descriptions.

The host was kind and the welcome was very good. The house is 15 minutes from Gap, making it a perfect spot for those who want peace in the countryside. We also found a wonderful place thanks to the host’s advice (Notre Dame de Laus), whether you’re religious or not. Breakfast was lovely, with a homemade tart that varied each day, plus bread, butter, jam, hot drink, and fruit.
