The place was pretty gorgeous and every amenity was spotless; the windows offered great views and everyone was friendly. The town feels smaller, quieter, and calmer than Florence, making it a relaxing spot. However, getting to Florence takes about an hour on foot or 15‑20 minutes by bike, though the walk is scenic.

Everything was very clean, the owner gave excellent service, and it’s convenient for driving.

The host was great and we were sent to a concert that had a good spot. They also offered unlimited coffee. Our train was delayed by two hours, yet they welcomed us with great kindness outside of check‑in hours. The stay was very calm. The heat wave made it impossible to use air conditioning, and many insects bit me at night while I slept with a fan on my face and the gates open. Uber to the city costs €100 for 27 km, and overall transportation in the city is very complicated.
