A decent house with AC. The neighbor handled everything, and there might be a key box. There was a washer and dryer, but no fresh air came out of them, so we didn’t use them!

Carlos, the owner, was very helpful and friendly both before and during the stay. The house is nice and close to Monteverde, with good restaurants just a 5‑10 minute drive away. We barely slept the first night because a streetlamp shines straight into the room and the curtains do nothing to block it. The few windows let all the noise through – dogs barking, wind, motorcycles, etc. The bed was also not very comfortable. We’d go back for the owner, but we can’t stay in this location again.

Decorated with love and artistic taste. Close to Monteverde, but a bit on an unpaved road. The host is very friendly. Spacious. The mattress is too soft. There’s no space for clothes.

1. Not much privacy – the bathroom window faced your own unit. 2. Lots of decoration that felt uncomfortable. 3. They asked for a $200 deposit that wasn’t mentioned on the booking site, so we had to go to the bank because we ran out of cash. 4. It’s far from the town.

Fully equipped. It would help if the building had its name on the outside so we knew we’d found the right place.
