The view from my room was fantastic and very relaxing, Clare was brilliant, and breakfast was great 👍.

The ducks, sheep, and people gave a friendly welcome, the room was fabulous with amazing views, breakfast was lovely, and though we only stayed one night, we’ll definitely book again next time we’re in the area. Nothing was wrong.

Clare and her B&B were the best. We were welcomed warmly, chatted with Clare about trailhounds and her farm, and then taken to a spacious, clean, and comfortable room. That night we walked a mile into Gosforth, dined at Gosforth Hall (recommended, especially the pies), and slept soundly before a great breakfast the next day. I can’t recommend it higher. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Wow. The views, the room, and the people were amazing. The farm had so much character. Claire and Ian were perfect hosts—friendly and helpful. We booked because it was close to Wasdale carpark, the start of the hike up Scafell Pike; it’s about a 15‑minute drive and one of the most picturesque drives I’ve ever seen—you end up driving slowly just to soak it all in. I highly recommend this place; it creates memories that will last forever.
