I recently spent a night at **Hotel Shangrila** and it turned out to be an amazing stay. We booked online and were pleasantly surprised by how good the room was. It was clean, cozy, and comfy—the bed and shower were excellent, the toilet was tidy, and the AC functioned flawlessly. Even though the hotel sits by the road, the rooms are well soundproofed, so we weren't bothered by any noise, probably thanks to the noise‑cancelling doors. The staff were incredibly friendly, from reception to room service. Dining was a highlight; after a long trip back from India, the Nepali cuisine was a treat. The chowmein, momo, wings, and lollipop were all delicious. For dinner we had the chicken thali set, which was spot‑on—flavorful and hot. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Shangrila to anyone looking for a spotless, comfortable stay with great food in Nepal. I’ll be back for sure!

The location was the only good thing. The room wasn’t clean or tidy; it looked like it had been shut up for days, and the bathroom was just as dirty.
