Breakfast was varied and plentiful; we’re not big on meat and sausage, but we found plenty of cheese, vegetables, and fruit that we liked. We would gladly recommend you. The only issue was the stairs to the second floor; it might help to point that out at check‑in or place those rooms on a lower floor for people who need it.

Quiet, unique, beautiful surroundings, a clean, spacious room. No trouble finding the place and check‑in was smooth. Simple but very good breakfast. Free on‑site parking. View of Grossglockner from the dining room! The only downside was the tiny bathroom and lack of towels.

Breakfast and the room were fine. A very friendly and helpful front‑desk lady shared all the useful information with us. The church and cemetery were repeatedly impressive. We were also thrilled by the exhibitions in Heiligenblut and at Hochtor. Every staff member was extremely courteous. The exhibition in Winklern was a must‑see. The lamb festival was the cherry on top – the Lammkrone *****! A very successful weekend under bright sunshine, with a magnificent view of the Glockner.
