The location is great, just a two‑minute walk to the main street, and because it turns a corner you avoid the nighttime traffic; the front desk staff were very friendly and gave us a free room upgrade when there was availability, a nice touch; the rooms were a decent size, and the reception area and patio were basic but met our expectations for a single night; they also arranged paid transport to the station.

The spot is spot‑on – right in the middle of everything and the staff were quick to answer any question over WhatsApp. The only downsides were a grimy shower glass and the fact that there’s no lift, which made lugging luggage a bit of a hassle. Overall, a convenient base if you don’t mind a few minor quirks.

This place sits perfectly for strolling around the old town on foot, which was a huge plus for our sightseeing plans. Unfortunately the room felt damp and pretty dark, making it less comfortable than we’d hoped. Still, the location alone makes it worth considering.
