The views were pretty nice, but the place felt isolated; next time I'd head to the village of Labuan Bajo.

The property sits on a small hill with breathtaking sea views, and the rooms are cute with terraces overlooking the ocean; the restaurant location is even more striking, but unfortunately many things severely detract from the stay: the room is 15 minutes from the center and you can only get around by taxi (Grab only offers motorbike), the road to the hotel is in terrible condition, unsafe for scooters, and needs to be rebuilt; the exterior of the rooms is dilapidated, the bathroom often smells bad, towels are provided for showers but not for sinks, the air‑conditioner doesn’t cool well, the terrace lacks a drying rack and a set of chairs with a table, and the Wi‑Fi doesn’t work; we tried the restaurant for dinner and would not recommend it at all; breakfast was decent but served very slowly and at times seemed rude, making us feel like a nuisance and it was hard to communicate; the value for money was poor and it felt too expensive for everything.

The view was breathtaking, the room was very beautiful, well arranged, and spacious, and the comfort matched the scenery. The road to the hotel is quite dangerous on scooter because it's very worn out… The restaurant view is stunning but the service is very slow and the portions are far too small for a price that felt too high. Note that if you rent a scooter you have to pay in cash, which isn’t mentioned at the rental and can cause unpleasant surprises at the end of the stay.

The room, the pool, and the view were superb. The overall experience was mixed, mainly because of the reception and the facilities. From the moment we arrived, the path to the hotel was in bad shape, making access difficult. The reception was especially austere, lacking a warm impression. That lack of friendliness carried over to the restaurant, where the dining room was missing atmosphere and warmth. Finally, the menu offered limited choices and we had some trouble communicating in English with the staff. The property would benefit from a few adjustments.

The place is absolutely fantastic! The view is breathtaking, extremely quiet, a little slice of paradise.
