First, the room was tiny, so my friend and I barely fit together; second, it was sweltering and we didn’t turn on the AC because there was an unidentified brown stain running down the wall from the AC unit. The view was great if you want to taste the local Cagliari popcorn, and the shared kitchen was never used due to hygiene concerns. Otherwise, if you’re vaccinated against all illnesses, it’s a decent option. PS. The floor was oddly dirty. Everything was bad.

The accommodation is 5 minutes from the center and the bastion, close to public transport stops and grocery stores within a few minutes’ walk. The bed is large and comfortable, with plenty of space to lay out items, a separate shelf for groceries in the kitchen, and a fridge. The bathroom and toilet are clean, fully equipped, and there were no water interruptions. However, if you book a room with a private bathroom, be prepared that it is not adjacent to your room; it’s further down the corridor and you’ll have to wrestle with the door lock. The area is a bit noisy in the morning, so I had to close the windows because it was uncomfortable to sleep.
