The breakfast was okay, and getting to downtown Vancouver was super easy with the Expoline from the Skytrain. On Saturday and Sunday the hotel was well booked and the two elevators weren’t enough to move the crowds, causing a 10‑15 minute wait for the lift, which was normal but annoying; on regular weekdays the elevators were fine.

The location was good, close to shops and the sky‑rail, and the staff were pleasant and lovely to deal with. However, the heating in the rooms blew out cold air whenever it was turned on, making the room chilly even when the heater was set high; the continental breakfast was average and I had to ask each morning for coffee and other items to be refilled.

I liked the initial service, the room, the cleanliness, and the location; the parking lot was spacious and well lit and met my travel needs. I didn’t like the breakfast much—it was too focused on foods that are very different from what we’re used to. The breakfast could have been a continental style with some typical local dishes added.
