The location was central to everything we wanted and was conveniently right off I‑10. The overnight front‑desk clerk seemed indifferent, the other guests were loud, and the hallways and room smelled like a possible pesticide, which felt very suspect. It was dated and not a comfy stay.

The room was neat and clean and close to the freeway for our commute into Houston. When we arrived, a strange odor filled the entire hotel—maybe from a cleaning solution or something else—and it was tolerable but not pleasant. Breakfast was disappointing: eggs were made from a powder, biscuits were so hard we couldn’t cut or break them open. Overall, a real bad breakfast.

When we arrived, we first got a room that smelled very strong, causing headaches, and a window wouldn’t open. After complaining, we were moved to a room with a better, more accurate scent. Breakfast was served with plastic cutlery and Styrofoam plates in a self‑serve style, and the breakfast room wasn’t very appealing.
