Mr. B's Place

Mr. B's place feels like a home away from home with a lovely garden. Bibak Pomika and the kids give the place a family‑like vibe, offering warm care and answering any request. Their close ties to the national park make the safaris a great experience and good for spotting animals. I’m looking forward to returning. Nothing else to mention.

“Saw much more wildlife than I expected”

Everything from the food, accommodation, and safaris was great; Mr. B organized everything for us, explained the different safaris, and we chose what we wanted. We saw tigers, a leopard, rhinos, water monitors, otters, spotted deer, swamp deer, loads of birds—including greater hornbills, woodpeckers, eagles, and many more. Two guides explained everything and were very knowledgeable about tracking wildlife. Power cuts happened a few times; it wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

The family was very kind, the food excellent, and the safaris were great with knowledgeable and passionate guides. Sometimes the power went out because of the wind, but that wasn’t their fault.

The accommodation is fantastic, right outside the national park entrance, run by a local family. I booked three nights but stayed six because we liked it so much. We did four safaris (walk, jeep twice, and raft) with Mr. B’s son as guide and saw many amazing animals, including tigers within 3–4 m of us. The food was great and there were plenty of cold drinks on hot safari days. The room was basic but spacious, had everything needed, and offered a lovely view. No mosquito net in the room, but the windows all had screens.

“Un séjour au top!”

The family and staff were welcoming and kind, doing everything to keep us happy. The guide, Boss, was highly skilled, and we enjoyed a fantastic safari with animals and birds—truly magical moments. Nothing to complain about.
