A staff member was incredibly helpful, even though I couldn’t speak Spanish well; she guided me to an ATM and a taxi to withdraw cash, and later helped me arrange a taxi once I reached Ometepe, which was very kind. The shower was nice, the room was clean and the bedding comfortable, and the air‑conditioning worked great. The location was convenient, just a few minutes from the ferry. The only downside was the abundance of flies around the property, but they were everywhere in town, and the air‑con eventually kept them away.
