“Keine Urlaubsempfehlung”
The location was very nice, quiet, and offered a good distant view. The room was freshly painted, clean, and the beds were comfortable. A highlight was the newspaper door in front of the balcony door. The reception was welcoming on arrival and always had an “open ear” for questions. The bathroom, however, felt underground compared to the living area. The shower and washbasin inlet were rosy. The tile seams were dark and not very attractive. The fixtures were polished, but nothing else encouraged a shower. Rust on the lower radiator was already flaking, and the cracked tile corners left a bad impression. The 1970s style would have been fine otherwise. The balcony would have been nicer if it had been clean and spider‑net free. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 17:00, but I only received a small piece of apple strudel, requested without ice cream and whipped cream, yet it cost 8.90 €, which was quite outrageous. There was nothing to eat until 16:00, which was the possible check‑in time on site. I would not recommend this long‑stay inn for vacation – it feels more like a construction workers’ accommodation.
