The climate felt familiar.

The hotel feels like a family place, and the rooms are huge with working air conditioning. The food is great, varied, and very generous, and the staff—especially Marisa the manager—are adorable. On the downside, having a breakfast menu card posted would have helped us know what could be ordered, since without it we didn’t really know what ingredients were available. The staff asked us each time what we wanted to eat. The same applied to dinner: posting the menu in advance and offering alternatives for non‑meat eaters would be useful. The staff did adapt the menu for me each time because I don’t eat meat, but it wasn’t pre‑arranged and I had to remind them repeatedly. Also, posting the pool hours and location at reception would be a big plus so guests know where it is and when it’s open.
