Breakfast was included in the room rate and served on a very pleasant terrace; the common areas were well‑maintained, and you could walk straight to the ferry departures for the Aeolian Islands and the city buses. The room equipment was poorly maintained and needed minor repairs.

The highlights were the prime location for the ferry to the Aeolian Islands, the large terrace and rooftop, and the overall tidy décor of the hotel.

Breakfast was good, but we had to haul our luggage up a long flight of stairs; the beds and sheets were only marginal, with two single beds side‑by‑side and a sheet that didn’t stay in place. No one was ever there to check us in – the key was left on the counter – and nobody appeared again.

Everything was great – the apartment, the staff, and we were even able to check in earlier than usual upon request. There was nothing to criticize.

We stayed in a suite with a beautiful whirlpool tub, typical Sicilian décor, clean, and perfectly positioned for the Aeolian Islands and the city center. Everything was perfect, so I recommend it! The only addition I’d suggest is more towels and local products, since the hotel is so characteristic – that was why we booked in October. Breakfast was well supplied.
