Olle Resort

I’ve been to Olley Resort three times and still recommend it to friends. The value for money is amazing, rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet—ideal for families or couples. Previously they had breakfast and a café convenience store with snacks, but this time they didn’t serve breakfast and the store had almost nothing; there’s no convenient late‑night shop nearby, which was a hassle.

The atmosphere feels calm and cozy, with a quiet charm that would suit newlyweds or young couples, and it seems fine for families too. The downside is that there are so many sights within 30 minutes that you never get a chance to use the pool, and the abundance of nearby attractions means you spend little time inside the resort – a bit disappointing. Still, I’d consider returning, this time aiming for a room on the 3rd or 4th floor because the ground floor has a slightly damp smell.

“돌고래 고파요?”

We chose this place so the kids could watch dolphins and they saw them right after checking in, which made the children thrilled. The room gets plenty of light but mornings are exhausting (probably only in summer; winter would be nicer), the bathtub is placed awkwardly, and there’s a risk of hurting your feet on the bed.

The room was very spacious and clean, and an English‑speaking staff member explained the pool issue since I didn’t understand. The room is full of glass and has no blackout curtains, making it impossible to sleep because the light wakes us up. The pool isn’t included in the payment; you have to dig to find that info. The pool opening dates aren’t up to date, so I couldn’t use it. Luckily, a mother’s place is 10 minutes by car and 2 hours on foot. The restaurant only opens in the morning, so you have to plan to eat elsewhere; the nearby restaurant only offers a two‑person menu, and I was alone. There’s a grocery store nearby, which is a relief. Communication with some staff is difficult because they don’t speak English; you have to wait for someone who does. Unfortunately, the windows aren’t very clean, spoiling the view while bathing, and the cleaning machine after use doesn’t work.

“Fair, not repeating it”

The view was great, the location was solid, and the rooms were spacious and clean. However, the pool was empty even though it was advertised as a feature, the staff wouldn’t give us extra pillows or blankets and came across as passive‑aggressive and rude, no room cleaning was done, and they weren’t generous with towels.
