The building was new, but the stairs were a bit heavy for me and there was no fridge in the room.

The room was clean, but the stairs to reach the entrance were a bit of a climb.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms stay spotless thanks to towel changes every two days, plus the breakfast at the pastry shop across the street is great. However, there’s no blackout curtain—just a thin gray drape—so the windows don’t block light at night, and the rooms are poorly sound‑proofed; every little noise from outside or neighboring rooms is audible. Also, there’s no fridge in the room.

The hotel sits in a very quiet part of town, parking is easy to find, and the nearby restaurants are excellent. Breakfast at Pasticceria Sicilia is simply fantastic, and having a fridge available for guests is a real perk! There’s nothing bad about the property itself, but the city’s overall decline is a real disappointment.
