The stay offered a dreamy view over the jungle valley, was spacious and stylishly furnished, and sits about 2 km from Ella town. Lahiru was super friendly and helped with everything, booked a tasty breakfast every day, and arranged our tuk‑tuk and taxi rides. The cooking class and the large spice garden were extra highlights. Highly recommended.
“Stunning location in the kitchen garden with exceptional cooking course on site”
The location is so beautiful. The cooking course was wonderful and the team kindly cooked some child friendly food early on for our hungry 3 year old! The view from the mountain room was exceptional. The property doesn’t have a restaurant so the only food available is the cooking course. This was ok for us because we were doing the cooking course and the staff kindly provided us with snacks for our kids to keep them going until the evening - but just to be aware!
“Lovely stay with amazing views”
It’s a peaceful spot away from Ella’s noise. The room was roomy with fantastic views and the shower had hot water. Breakfast was tasty with eggs and pancakes. Lahiru was helpful and suggested activities. We also enjoyed the cooking class and the huge garden with its diverse plants and trees. Booking our next leg of the trip through the accommodation was smooth, and the driver was amazing. The only note is that, because it’s far from Ella town, you’ll need a tuk‑tuk to get around, and tuk‑tuks in Ella are pricier than elsewhere in Sri Lanka.
“fantastic!”
absolutely stunning garden and great room! we did the garden tour and cooking class and it was exceptional, one of our highlights of the trip! the lovely guide of the garden tour was super kind and has amazing knowledge about all plant and spices! the local woman who did the cooking class with us was very sweet and we had the best time!
The views were amazing, the room was lovely, breakfast and the cooking class were great, and the spice garden is stunning. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in nature and relax. Ella’s city centre is just a 10‑minute drive away.
