Nestled in central Woodstock’s historic 17th‑century building, the 4‑star Blenium Buttery offers six en‑suite rooms with free Wi‑Fi, original wooden beams, and tea‑coffee facilities. A courtyard garden and traditional tea‑room serve seasonal dishes, while the downstairs eatery overlooks the market square. Located 8 miles north of Oxford, it provides easy access to Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds.

The room was tidy and offered good value, but the third bed in the “Triple Room” was a futon that was unusable, which was disappointing.

I didn’t use the breakfast room, and the room could have had better general lighting.

The location and comfort were good, but the bathroom door handle was broken.

I loved how the room was spacious, looked really cosy and had great free standing fan and also how easy it was to check in and let yourself in and out of the building. Just the mattress was bit bouncy and the noise of the pipes once you switch the tap on or have a shower. But still great stay for a night
