How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The room was beautiful, clean, and the location was great. A hurricane caused a power outage (not Aston’s fault), but the absence of any emergency lighting or battery‑powered fans was unacceptable; we couldn’t even see the keypad in the total darkness to enter our room. The staff were rude and unhelpful, repeatedly saying we had to contact Aston (whose hours were 8‑5, useless when you’re out all day and the air conditioning is off on 95‑degree days).

The hotel was beautiful, clean, spacious, and accommodating. Unfortunately, I fell ill with food poisoning, but the staff kindly extended our checkout.

The view is great in the Ocean Front room. Loved it! Also, just a heads up to thank you for the help with the AC. I know I called late at around 930 pm, but you had someone there immediately. I believe it was Joy who helped me.I hope that's right. Thank you so much! Other, then that it was a marvelous stay at the Aston Whaler as usual! We will be back!

The property is very beautiful, located on one of Maui’s best beaches. The apartment is spacious with an excellent sea view.

The location is fantastic. Room 916 was large, clean, and offered a nice ocean view. The room had everything we needed, and the marketplace, restaurants, bars, and free parking were nearby. The staff could have explained more about the activities available to guests and provided more information about the hotel.
