“Room for improvement”
The room was spacious with a complete set of furniture and TV, although it took some fiddling to find the channels. However, there were cockroaches in the bathroom and the towels were pretty grimy. A bit of a clean-up effort in the bathroom and some fresh towels would definitely bump up the hotel's rating, in my opinion.
“Convenient location, meh service”
It's super easy to get to the Solo bus station from the Balapan train station - just walk across the pedestrian bridge. That being said, the staff weren't exactly the friendliest or most attentive.
“Great room, but no lift”
The room was huge and the bed was super comfy, plus the hot water was great. Only downside was having to climb the stairs since there's no elevator - a bit of a workout! Overall, it was a good stay.
“Towels could be better”
The room was a good size, but the white towels were looking pretty worn out and dirty. That's my main gripe, but overall it was a decent place to stay.
“Felt like home”
I loved that the hotel was close to my family's place and felt like home. There wasn't anything that didn't meet my expectations - it just felt really familiar and comfortable.
