I liked everything. Everything was spotless, the staff were attentive, the breakfast was generous and delicious. The place is beautiful! I will definitely come back.

What I liked most was the peace and quiet of the place. Of course, the cleanliness, tidiness, the great breakfast and the friendly staff all helped a lot. For those who appreciate simplicity, I highly recommend Casa Abel. Nothing to report.

Nothing. Based on the reviews available on Booking, I didn’t expect a good experience. Still, Casa Abel managed to under‑deliver on my expectations: the stay was much worse than I imagined. The hotel opened in 1966 and, apparently, hasn’t undergone significant renovations since then. On Friday night the property’s gym was rented for a sports event, and the noise was so intense that it felt like people were playing ball inside my room. It was impossible to rest properly. We booked two nights and the room was never cleaned during the entire stay. Moreover, the bathroom shower was broken, the shower didn’t heat, and the mirror was in poor hygienic condition. The mattress was another big issue: extremely worn and uncomfortable, it sagged so much that you could feel the bed frame when lying down. To top it off, I found a cut nail in the bedding, which gave a strong impression of poor hygiene and raised doubts about proper linen changes between guests. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve ever had and I do not recommend the establishment.
